The Greek island of Ios (Nios) is a neighbour of Mykonos and Tinos in the Greek Cyclades, renown for crystal clear blue seas.
The house for rent is well equipped and comfortably furnished, making it a wonderful refuge for a writer or an artist and also for holidays with friends, couples or for a family including children, up to a party size of 6.
IIOS ISLAND VILLA FOR RENT
The house is rustic in style and situated by the seaside in a tranquil position. A delightful pathway leads through a blue gate to its own private beach. The house has an outside shower use on your return from the beach.
The villa is well-equipped and comfortably furnished for a self-catering holiday, with a large covered terrace with views of the sea. The living room has equipment to listen to music and a lot of books to read for relaxation.

IOS TOURIST INFORMATION
Ios, is in the Greek Cyclades near Santorini (half an hour by boat), Paros, Naxos, Sikinos. Ios is the island where Homer died, according to the local tradition. It has picturesque villages and a several of the most renowned beaches in Greece: Milopota, five minutes walk from the house or swimming distance and Manganari. Manganari was the film location for scenes in the film "Le Grand Bleu" ("The Big Blue").
How to get to Ios
Santorini international airport (about 30 minutes from Athens) and then ferry to Ios (30 min with fast ferry or 1 hour 15 min by standard ferry).
From Pireas port to Ios: 3 hours with fast ferry / 7 hours with standard ferry.
